Veterans Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA.
Welcome to Veterans Cemetery.... ..
As of this time, not too much is known of the cemetery. It appears that the cemetery sprung up some time during the late 1700's, and all who are laid to rest there are American Veterans or the family of American Veterans. The present graves are of soldiers who had fought in the Revolutionary War, The War of 1812 and the Civil War. This cemetery is located just outside the Gettysburg city limits in Adams County, Pa. The head stones are very old and aged. Many of the headstones are in a dire state of disrepair and need restoration. The cemetery is quite small. The entire cemetery encompasses approximately 1/2 acre. If you are familiar with this cemetery, please contact me regarding it's history and caretaker.
