When I first began investigating the "EVP" phenomenon, which was well over (6) years ago now, I was new to the field of study and was elated with my progress I was making.  I tried new techniques and found what worked the best and how I could better apply controls to my experiments.  However, within a short period of time, I began to thirst for more knowledge as to what made the "EVP" occur. I began testing every different variable I could think of to test the phenomenon.

As the years passed by, I began to look into the types of hardware which our predecessors used in their research of the "EVP" phenomenon. Even though their equipment was out dated by today's technological standards, it was the principle and our predecessors convictions which interested me. While researching in the archives, I stumbled across an article regarding Thomas Edison. Low and behold, I find that Mr. Edison was a firm believer in the paranormal and truly believed that he could create a device which could link the two planes of existence, the living and the dead. Thomas Edison began working on this certain project in the later years of his life and unfortunately, he died before he could complete his research endeavor. He called his device the "Spiritcom". Since his death, many researchers have worked on the theory of devising the Spiritcom. 

Through the century, advances have been made, particularly through the encouragement and funding of a Mr. George Meek in the 1970's who, with Bill O'Neil, developed the "Spiritcom". George Meek and Bill O'Neil made the first true, direct two way voice contact, with those who manned Time Stream Station. Over the years, countless transmissions have been received, listened to, and unfortunately were passed over. While I was on hiatus from the organization, I pondered over multiple electronic schematic's. Most of the developed and tested "Spiritcom" units operate on a middle to high level frequency. After finding that a large majority of my EVP samples were present in the low frequency bandwidth, I created a low frequency audio array and a mobile recording station which gave the researcher the ability to create a high quality recording out in the field, without the need for a direct power source.

During the  testing of one of the prototype units, I stumbled across a couple unforeseen capabilities. The first was the researchers ability to review the data as it was being recorded. There was a mere millisecond delay between the sound and the recorded sound, but this was more than tolerable. To my surprise, I found that this new device had another hidden capability. I was able to not only record and review the real time feed, but was able to harness the technology to host and communicate freely with the emanating low frequency EVP phenomenon. How exciting is that? At first, I approached this process very skeptically as if it was all coincidence. However, after further testing of the equipment and it's operation, the chance of coincidence began to dissipate into thin air.  The first field test of the unit was performed some years ago now. As the months passed, new technology was implemented slowly. At first, I updated the recording circuit. Then the overall output wattage was increased. The outcome of testing shows that there is indeed a true communication between both parties.

To sure up the overall validity of the equipment and the process, the NJGR has begun rigorous testing of the unit in all types of conditions.   As of this time, I have to place a large amount of credence behind these recent findings. This is simply due to the fact that I cannot find a clinical  argument which would explain or discredit these captured transmissions and communications. Only time and further experimentation will tell. Until that time, we will keep testing the unit and make contact when possible.
