The New Journey Ghost Research organization is quite different from many other organizations and paranormal investigative agencies. This is mainly due to our new and much more advanced operational protocols and procedures. Members of the NJGR organization don't simply enter into an individuals residence, take a few photographs, then declare that the residents have a ghost or demon present in their home. I assure you my friends, this is not a practice which we indulge in, nor condone for that fact. It will take much more concrete evidence than just some positive photographs to derive a conclusion, which would support such a claim.
One way in which we gather concrete evidence is through a full background investigation of the residence. This practice is often ignored or put off by other organizations in this field of study, and this is a true mistake on their part. When done correctly, a huge amount of information can be compiled and collated, displaying historical truths which may have been unknown to the residents of the home. Each and every residential client will receive a residential background investigation, and all collated data is then issued to the client for future reference. In some cases, where permission has been granted by the owner or caretaker of the property, copies of the background investigation are submitted to surrounding Historical Society's for archiving purposes. These submitted findings are then entered into the historical libraries for future review and reference by society. All of the collected historical data is gathered through such recognized sources as local and county Historical Society's, State & County Library's, University Library's, and County Clerks offices. These sources for data collection are often very helpful and are recognized as official resources for this type of data. Furthermore, these resources have allot to offer the inquisitive researcher.
If you are a paranormal researcher, and you are not providing your clients with historical insight which pertains to their property, you are falling short of the proverbial mark. A wise man once said; "If you don't know your past, you won't know your future". Well my friends, this phrase sure holds true in this field of study. Give this procedure a try, you are almost completely assured that you will obtain some very useful data in the process. We are presently searching for members who would be interested in performing historical background investigations for the organization. If you are experienced in performing these types of historical background investigations and would like to join us in our endeavors, please visit our application page and fill out one of our membership applications.
