Welcome to the NJGR Website

I don’t wish to appear critical or impartial with these following statements, however, I feel it is time that this is said in an open forum. Let’s us face the facts for a moment. The field of Paranormal Researching thus far is in a lethargic state. I can count on one single hand the number of organizations or groups who are actually applying scientific principles to their researching endeavors and this is unacceptable.

Let us face it, Using a Digital Camera, a $100 gausemeter and a digital audio recorder does not an investigation make. A true and vital investigation of a residence takes much more than one or two visits and a relative theory cannot be constructed within a two to three hour period. During those two or three hours, you may not find a single shred of viable evidence.

For a bit of background as example, NJGR's most extensive case consumed well over (10) months of time. Countless hours were spent performing historical background investigations of the residence through the local hall of records. Bi-weekly visits were made to the residence to collect data and to work with the clients, easing their minds and stabilizing their lives. After a (10) month time period, all of the data was collated and then and only then was a judgment rendered. To do any less is not only irresponsible but damaging to the field of study’s already tattered reputation.

I am beginning to believe that most researchers today simply don’t know how to apply the sciences to their studies. I see far too many people who are quick to be popularized by the media as paranormal researchers. They are ready and willing to step into the limelight for their 15 minutes of fame and glory, only to come off as controversial at best. They truly don’t realize that their whole world could be shattered with only (2) little words, " PROVE IT "! You see, to prove a theory, you must first have a way of applying scientific principle. It is this scientific principle which supports the derived theory. Many people rush to speculate or assume and in reality, their short comings and lack of contingency make them appear irrational and foolish in the eye of the media and the public.

Just recently, I spoke with numerous people on our trip to Gettysburg. The most popular topic on these people’s minds were these new paranormal television shows. I was prompted on every single occasion to provide a remark or opinion of these shows. Instead, I ask these people what they thought of the shows. I hate to say this but the public found the programming direly wanting and a tad on the silly side. All of the drama which is created between the staff members, the arguments, the disagreements. It all has no place in this field of study.

Paranormal Researching does not belong within the parameters of reality television. Doing so does not validate the study, it only hampers it’s relativity and how it is perceived. It is difficult for me to stand by and watch the field of study be bastardized and portrayed in this manner. This is exactly why I turned down hosting these types of shows. And as far as assuming that a residence is hampered with a demon soul prior to entering into the investigation, is just pure carelessness and dangerous to those who live within the constraints of the environment in question. I haven’t seen a single shred of evidence in over (6) years which would support that demons are reining over this earth and filling the closets of American homes. This is utter nonsense and it needs to cease and desist. NJGR has researched residences in the past which were previously labeled as demonically possessed. The out come in every case showed not one single shred of evidence that would support that a demon was present. What, are we living in the dark ages here. Too often than not, most researchers fall into the category I call "Cookie Cutter" researchers. These "Cookie Cutter" researchers are following the same old techniques and procedures which were created long before I officially enter into the field of study. Look at this issue in these terms. Let’s say these set researching protocols have been in play for the last 15 years. Don’t you think that in that time span, some one would have compiled some type of concrete evidence which proves the relativity of the paranormal? Thus far, no one including myself has been able to provide concrete evidence that ghosts even exist. Though I have come very close on a couple occasions. Even though I have fallen short thus far, I still strive to better the research processes in hopes of providing the evidence which is so richly deserved. To put it bluntly, if your research endeavors are not fruitful and they are not producing relative evidence, you must therefore fall back and re-formulate a process which will provide the evidence you seek.

As a scientific minded researcher, I for one spend numerous hours calculating theorems, engineering new equipment and testing new investigative protocols in the hopes that one day my work may influence others to follow suit and begin applying science to their investigative proceedings. Thus far, the field looks like a playground, filled of children running around and playing. It is for this very reason that the scientific community shuns the field of paranormal research. Sure, it is tough and time consuming to apply science to this field of study. You are trying to do something which man has been trying to do since the beginning of time. You have to dedicate yourself to make progress, and yes, experiments will fail. However, advancements are made through failures. Some researchers are operating under a misconception that applying technology is applying science. Applying technology is " NOT " the application of science, it is the application of technology. To be effective, you must devise an experiment where certain variables are to be tested. Then you must apply scientific theory. Then you can apply technology. Once all these fields have been satisfied, then you can filter the data and test the results of your experiment. To proceed onward without following the above processes is entirely fruitless and you will never receive the validation you are searching for. All in all, the path is clear to me and I choose to follow it to the truth. Scientific application leads to the truth. I am not the only one which sees the field of study this way. See what Robin Renee Bridges has to say about the field of study and the application of Physics and Quantum Physics by clicking "Here". Those of you who concur, I welcome you and look forward to working with you. Those of you who choose to remain blinded by the limelight, and remain in the proverbial rut of researching, I wish you the best and bid you a good day.

Sincerely,

Michael Dieser
