Apply for the NJGR Web Award

A word from the NJGR Administrator: As a web master and Administrator to the NJGR organization, I spend a great deal of time updating the web site and working over he internet with associates from other paranormal organizations. During this interaction, I have the ability to review som really stunning sites. This being the case, I thought it would be a nice gesture to create our own web award and bestow the award upon the best of the best web sites. Below, you will find my criteria for applying for the award. Cheers!

Does your web site have the talent and appearance to win the "NJGR Web Site Award?

Requirements to qualify for the NJGR Web site award are as follows:
  • Your web site must contain information about or display data regarding spirits, ghosts, or the paranormal.

You must submit an application through this page, supplying all of the required information. Failure to do so will eliminate the possibility of receiving the "NJGR Web Site Award".

Your site must be well structured. Spelling must be correct, links must function properly and the graphics must be smooth and attractive to the eye. When we speak of graphics, we are speaking of original graphic design, not just a graphic design you lifted from someone else's page on the net. Show us some original graphics and web site design.

  • Can your site be easily navigated by our staff and others on the internet? This is an important issue during you web sites inspection. If we get lost in your site, become bored with it's content, or find it's structure troublesome, you will not be considered for the "NJGR Web Site Award.

"What we are looking for in a paranormal web site!"

  • Photos, Video, or Audio Recordings of claimed paranormal activity.

Text reports or information regarding any investigations you may have performed.

Audio recordings which display paranormal phenomena.

  • Sharp, brilliant web graphics. This is always a plus. We will not consider a page that looks like your Aunt Matilda put it together last Tuesday evening after hitting the cooking sherry. We are looking for really stunning paranormal sites.

"Sites and content which are not eligible for the NJGR Award"

  • Adult sites or pages displaying explicit sexual nature or content.

Sites promoting hatred, prejudice, and / or violence towards any group, organization, person, entity, etc.

Any site that is deemed as offensive, demeaning or repulsive by the staff members of NJGR.

  • Sites promoting illegal activity.

"Things to bear in mind during your time of application."

  • You web site will be fully evaluated for structure, taste, content, etc.

We will evaluate sites in the order in which they are received.

We will notify you, VIA e-mail, only if your site has been chosen for the NJGR Web Site Award.

There must be no "CONSTRUCTION SIGNS" present in the sites directories, this is a total turn off.

    You only need apply once.

All text must be in English.

  • If you win our NJGR Web Site Award, it is only fair that you display the award and link it back to our web site.
